Angled Gridfinity Tray - upgrade for Bow Xtender and DIY tablesaw fence - 3D files
This is a set of 2×4 and 2×3 angled gridfinity trays for mounting to the rear of the Bow Xtender Fence. They are based on the Gridfinity standard and include magnet slots, should you want to use them. You can then create your own Gridfinity tray designs online, with no 3D modelling software to install. Here is the link: https://gridfinitygenerator.com. You can also download existing gridfinity trays from Printables.
STL files
This set of STL’s comes a selection of trays that. include a combination of the following; a finger cutout for easy removal of the flat tray, a pencil slot. in two sizes, 2×3 and 2×4. The flat trays are intended for you to stick a notepad to, (double sided tape) but you may have other ideas. You can use magnets to make the tray more secure. No supports required to print. You will need to orientate flat to the build plate in the slicer software as they will come in at an angle. The idea I had where to use these for removable notepads and pencil at the tablesaw, but you could easily create a tray to hold your phone safely when you enter the workshop.
Mounting to the fence requires 2 x M6 or ¼” T-bolts by 20mm long (3/4”) and 2 x thin square nuts.
If you can’t find short enough T-Bolts then you can cut them to length. Alternatively if the square nuts are large enough to act as the T-bolt you can use them in the slot and then use pan head bolts that are 20mm (3/4”) long, much easier to find. If you are using the variable mounts then you will need to double the bolts and nuts.
