A rite of passge

About 11 years ago, my wife and I adopted two beautiful girls. Before they arrived, we needed to make some changes to the house. So, a few DIY projects began. The first was creating a wall of storage in what would soon become a playroom, and I also built under-stairs shoe storage. I enjoyed these two projects so much that it reignited the "making bug" from my earlier years. I decided my next project had to be a workbench, so I went all in and ordered the Bench Crafted Leg Vice kit. I had not made a mortice and tenon joint since high school. Here is a few pictures of my bench build.

It turned out ok, learnt so much and excitingly got to buy a few tools in the process.
